Chipped Solid Wood Cabinet Corner Rebuilt

The bottom corner of this dark, polished cabinet had taken a hard enough knock to break the timber away. A pale wedge of raw, splintered wood stood out sharply against the rich finish, right on the front edge of the plinth where it caught the eye with every passing glance. In the after image the corner is whole again. The rebuilt edge tracks the moulding cleanly, the pale chip is nowhere to be seen, and the colour and grain carry straight on through so the repair quietly disappears into the piece.
