Smashed Caravan GRP Corner Panel Rebuilt On Site

This caravan GRP corner panel repair rebuilt a badly smashed section on site, saving the owner from a full panel order and respray bill. The white fibreglass corner at the base of the caravan had shattered, leaving jagged broken edges and a gaping hole where chunks of the moulded panel were missing entirely. The grey body section above sat sound, but the lower corner was wrecked.

Damage on this scale points to a heavy impact, most likely reversing or clipping the corner against a solid object, which is enough to punch straight through thin GRP and crack it back in spreading splinters.
