Scratched White Marine Sideboard Top Restored On Board

Aboard a vessel, this white sideboard top had been scored with a spray of fine scratches across its glossy surface. The before image, masked off with tape ready for work, shows long curving scratch lines etched into the white finish where something abrasive has been dragged over it. Pale, high gloss tops like this are wonderful when pristine but show every line, and in a working cabin or galley it only takes a piece of kit or a slid tray to leave a fan of marks.
