Scuffed Sage Green Planter Panels Restored
About This Repair
This powder coated planter panel restoration lifted a row of scuffed external planters back to a smooth, even sage green. The long steel planter units, finished in a soft grey green powder coat, were streaked with white scuff marks and abrasions running diagonally across the faces, the kind of pale scrapes that stand out badly against a flat coloured surface.
Marks like these come from contact wear, things brushing, leaning or dragging against the panels in a busy outdoor setting, transferring scuff material and rubbing through the top of the coating. Powder coat is tough, but once the surface is scored and scuffed the planters look tired and the damage cannot be wiped away.
Our technician cleaned and prepared the faces, treated the scuffed areas and refinished the panels to match the original sage green colour and sheen across the run. The after image shows clean, uniform planters with the scuffs gone and the colour consistent from end to end, ready to sit smartly in the landscaping again.
Stripping and recoating planters off site means removal, transport and downtime, while a brushed on touch up rarely matches a factory powder coat colour or finish. On site refinishing that disappears into the original is exactly what Magicman has done for commercial and external surfaces since 1993, with trained technicians and proprietary materials. To revive scuffed planters or panels of your own, send photos for an online estimate or see our external panel repair service.
