Stained Ceramic Cleaners Sink Reglazed and Restored

Years of heavy use in a commercial setting had left this deep ceramic cleaner's sink looking grey and tired. The original white glaze was dulled right down, scored and streaked, with ingrained grime and brown discolouration pooling around the waste and across the base. There was no crack or missing piece here, just a once white butler style sink worn matt and stained, the sort of fixture a busy site assumes is finished and earmarks for the skip. In reality it was a textbook ceramic sink repair and surface restoration.

The embedded staining was worked out, the scored areas were made good and the whole basin was resurfaced with proprietary materials, then colour matched to a clean, even white and polished back to a proper sheen.

The after image shows a bright, smooth sink with a uniform glaze, the brown staining cleared and the worn patches gone. A fixture written off as scrap is back in daily service.
