Hard surface restoration can be complex by nature, and while we always aim for the highest standards, some repairs come with limitations. In some instances, where surfaces are particularly fragile or have been previously damaged, repairs may be carried out without a warranty, provided complete transparency and agreement are obtained beforehand.

We also remind all our customers to follow the aftercare guidelines we provide carefully. Proper maintenance is essential for ensuring the longevity of your repair and protecting any associated warranty.

We’ve answered some of the most common queries about repairs, aftercare, and warranties below. From curing times to what’s covered under your warranty, you’ll find helpful guidance right here.

For large resurfaced items like baths, basins or tiling, please allow a minimum of 24 hours before use. Smaller repairs should be left for at least 8 hours to fully cure. Touching or using the area too soon may damage the repair.

Although we recommend a minimum time allowance following your repair, it is best to leave the repaired area for as long as possible.

Only use non-abrasive household liquid cleaners with a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid harsh chemicals, dyes, acidic or alkaline products, and anything containing abrasives (such as ‘Scotchbrite’ pads) as these can damage or discolour the repair.

Our repairs are covered by a 24-month warranty against flaking, peeling, and general failure of adhesion, unless advised otherwise at the time of quotation. However, damage caused by misuse, lack of aftercare, or environmental factors is not covered.

Yes. The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from abrasive cleaners, chemicals or dyes
  • Heat above 350°F (177°C) or exposure to direct flame
  • Excess moisture, standing water or structural movement
  • Rust or corrosion
  • New physical damage (e.g. chips, scratches)
  • Repairs agreed and completed without warranty due to prior risk being highlighted
