Burnt Pan Ring on Marble Worktop Repaired

On this elegant white Carrara style marble worktop, a single careless moment had left a bold scar. A hot pan placed straight onto the stone had burned a dark crescent ring into the surface, the intense heat scorching the marble brown and even fracturing it slightly along one side of the ring. The before image shows the burnt arc sitting starkly against the soft white ground and grey veining, with a couple of smaller heat blooms nearby, the kind of damage that draws every visitor's eye to the wrong spot.

This worktop repair tackled the burn directly on the slab. Our technician carefully worked back the scorched material, stabilised the small fracture and then rebuilt the surface, reinstating the white tone and threading the natural grey veining back through the repaired area. The after photograph shows clean, flowing marble once again, the dark ring completely gone and the veins running uninterrupted across where the burn had been, the finish smooth and bright as it was meant to look.
